Spring Beauty & Scents 2017

The spring semester is over! I have kept it pretty simple with what I’ve used this spring in terms of my beauty and scent favorites. I only placed one Bath & Body Works order, and only picked up a handful of products from the drugstore here and there. If I could assign any theme to the items I’ve been loving, it must be light and fresh. These are some of the things that I have been into:

Kringle Candle – Rainy Day Wax Melt
This wax is strong and long lasting. It’s a beautiful fragrance for spring, with fresh, green-y, water-y, floral notes, and cute packaging to match. I need to get Rainy Day in candle form for next spring. The first few days, it blew me out of the room.

Bath & Body Works – Blue Ocean Waters Room Spray
I almost got this scent in candle form, but I thought I should probably wait until summer. Since I was placing an order for Mother’s Day anyway, I decided to try out the room spray. I’m so glad I did, because despite its name, it is perfect for spring too!

Bath & Body Works – Honey & Tangerine Room Spray
This is another scent I was interested in trying in candle form back in March. Again, it’s perfect for spring! It isn’t a sharp tangerine nor a sugary honey fragrance. It is a subtle blend that’s quite refreshing for regular daytime use.

Burt’s Bees – Coconut Pear Lip Balm
My lips appreciated the moisture, but my nose appreciated the fresh coconut aroma. This one is a winner in my book, and a nice transition into the hot summer months. I really just haven’t been into lipstick this spring…

Lush – Whip Stick Lip Balm, Chocolate Orange
I had no idea Lush lip products were so good. I love a thick, creamy balm for my lips. Dry lips are a no-no for me, and this product gets a big fat yes-yes. The scent is a yummy bonus.

Maybelline – Baby Skin Face Primer
I put off trying this product for the longest time, but finally picked it up around Easter this year. It has been perfect for my light makeup days, under a powder foundation.

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish – Street Fair
The color of this polish is a new favorite of mine, and it lasted ages on my nails without chipping. I can’t ask for anything more from a nail polish!
